iEQ is a ten-band graphic equalizer designed for iOS, offering clean and transparent equalization through a series of two-pole cascaded bi-quad IIR filters, strategically centered at musically and sonically relevant frequencies.

Upon launching iEQ, users can select from a variety of media, including songs, playlists, or audiobooks from their Music Library, Device Files, or iCloud Drive. Playback can be initiated easily, followed by adjustments to the sliders that modify the equalization settings. The Attenuation slider, located on the left side of the interface, allows for overall volume control while assisting in preventing sound distortion. It is important to note that excessive boosts in specific frequency ranges may lead to clipping. In such instances, users are advised to lower the overall signal level using the attenuation control to mitigate distortion.

A convenient On/Off switch facilitates direct comparison between the original audio and the adjusted equalized settings.
